Brief Description:

The existing warehouse is located in Collinwood near Five points a major intersection of five roads. It is also recognized as a railroad hub (Collinwood Rail yard). The warehouse furniture showroom is hidden within its walls, only signage describes its function. The owner wanted to open the space to the public for viewing. By doing so this will increase sales and allow the wares to be viewed, thus making the corner location more inviting and esthetically pleasing. I designed the openings to maximize their size and location. I wanted to maintain the warehouse character by stalling roll down shutters to protect the windows after hours and to give the façade a garage depot / loading dock appeal.
